Franklin County is located in the NW corner
of Alabama. We are near the Muscle Shoals and Huntsville areas. The county
is know for its rural setting, hunting, and the area lakes. We are also with
20 minutes of the Tennessee River. The Watermelon festival is held each
year the 3rd weekend in August. Approximately thirty thousand people attend
the festival each year. |
