"BEST BOUTIQUE CITY HOTEL IN U.S. AND CANADA" BY DEPARTURES MAGAZINE
SANTA FE - The Inn of the Anasazi has received the top rating as "Best
Boutique City Hotel" in the United States and Canada by Departures
Magazine . The "Reader's Survey" list was published in the May/June 2003
issue of Departures Magazine, the prestigious travel magazine of the
American Express Publishing Corporation. The Inn of the Anasazi was also
named in Travel and Leisure Magazine's "Top 500- The Greatest Hotels In
The World" and Conde Nast Traveler's "Gold List- The Best Places to Stay
in the World" in January of 2003.
"It is a wonderful honor to be recognized by the discerning, well-traveled
readers of Departures Magazine," states Jeff Mahan, General Manager of the

More than 50,000 subscribers of Departures Magazine voted in this year's
Reader's Survey, with the Inn of the Anasazi receiving a top score of
91.12 as "Best Boutique City Hotel". The Inn of the Anasazi was rated
above other luxury boutique hotels such as the Hotel Bel-Air in Los
Angeles, Inn at the Market in Seattle and XV Beacon in Boston, with the
closest competitor in this category receiving a score of 68.37. The Inn of
the Anasazi is the only hotel in New Mexico to be recognized in the
Departures Magazine Reader's Survey of the World's Top Hotels.
