Escape to Sedona

Don’t put it off any longer!

(Sedona, Arizona) This year, many people have put off or considered not taking a vacation. But, it is in times like these that taking that hard-earned time-off is even more important. It is while on vacation that one reconnects with family, friends and oneself. When moments of relaxation bring revelation and put everyday stresses into perspective. The good news is it’s not too late to travel to Arizona’s Red Rock country: Sedona. Sedona has it all… art galleries, fine dining, vineyards, world-class resorts, outdoor activities and of course, those famous Red Rocks.

To start one’s Sedona vacation, one needs accommodations. Sedona offers both family friendly and romance ready resorts. If this is a family vacation then the Sedona Summit Resort is the place to stay. Located in West Sedona and adjacent to National Forest Service land, the Sedona Summit Resort features; pools, hot tubs, kiddie pools, barbecue areas, a fitness center, game room and personal Concierge service. One bedroom suites comfortably sleep four and offer fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, whirlpool tub, washer/dryer and a private balcony or patio. If this is a romantic getaway, then check into The Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort. Nestled between spectacular Red Rocks and The Sedona Golf Resort, one is afforded glorious views from every vantage point. The resort features; pools, hot tubs, fitness, grilling areas and personal Concierge service. One bedroom suites offer a fireplace, whirlpool tub, and stunning views from a private patio or balcony.

Once settled in, it’s time to have some fun. Hop on a horse, take a ride in a helicopter or go on a Jeep Tour adventure. How about a trip to the Grand Canyon? No need to drive, relax on the Grand Canyon Railway. Enjoy the scenery as the train makes its way to the Canyon. Or simply hike one of Sedona’s premier hiking trails, leaving the world (and one’s problems) behind.

With all that activity one is sure to get hungry! Where to eat? Sedona offers all types of cuisine and dining experiences. Fournos restaurant in West Sedona serves five-star cuisine and a boutique wine list in a relaxed setting. Choose from dishes like Kurabuto Pork Osso Bucco or Mahi Mahi in a citrus tomatillo sauce. If traditional Western Faire is what one is looking for, then The Cowboy Club in uptown Sedona fits the bill. This landmark restaurant offers cowboy steaks, ribs, cactus fries and even rattlesnake.

Now is the time to take that Sedona vacation. Don’t put it off any longer… Remember, it is while on vacation that one makes memories that last a lifetime.
