Leavenworth, Washington

Leavenworth’s Christmas Lighting Festival helped earn this Bavarian themed town the title of "Ultimate Holiday Town USA” from the Arts & Entertainment Network. Everyone is invited to share the fun and magic of the Holiday Season during their famous festival scheduled for the first three weekends in December.

Saint Nicholas arrives in Leavenworth on Friday evening by carriage. On Saturday the aroma of roasting chestnuts fills the air as Holiday music echoes through town while children sled in the park. The Opening Festivities begin with Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus arriving in town at Noon. Visitors enjoy live music and entertainment all day. On Sundays you can enjoy entertainment, strolling carolers and Holiday Personalities.

Celebrate with Sleigh Rides, tubing on Ski Hill, performances of “A Christmas Carol” by Leavenworth Summer Theater, Christmas Harp Concerts by Bronn Journey, and Choral Music from Village Voices.

For more information about the festival or the Leavenworth area visit www.leavenworth.org.
