Highlands Center Nightwalk Trail
Night Sky Stories and Stars - March 25
Highlands Center
The equinox is upon us, the days are getting a
little longer and the stars are rarely as
brilliant as in the crisp, clear evenings of
spring. On March 25th come and relish the night
sky. Participants are invited to come out
anytime between 6:30 and 7:00pm to engage in
three fun activities. Join the night walkers on
an hour long lightless trek through the
ponderosa forest, warm up by the fire and be
captivated by constellation stories. Visit the
Dark Sky Demonstration area and make a candle
holder in celebration of Earth Hour, a worldwide
collective display of commitment to protect the
one thing that unites us all - the planet. Hot
chocolate and tea will be available at check-in.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children
