Return to where Halloween meets the sea this October at SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. Kids are invited to come in costume and enjoy Sesame Street performances, colorful costumed characters, a special sea lion and otter show, and trick-or-treating among a sea-inspired atmosphere, which includes friendly sea witches, octopuses, schools of fish and more. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, which is included in park admission, operates from 1 to 6 p.m. (until 7:30 p.m. Halloween) and runs weekends Oct. 3–4, Oct. 10–11, Oct. 17–18, Oct. 24–25, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2009.

“The park is getting into the spirit of Halloween again this year with our not-too-scary celebration that will combine family-friendly activities and special entertainment that you can only find at SeaWorld,” said Vicky Agostino, executive producer of SeaWorld San Diego Entertainment. “Halloween Spooktacular brings children’s fantasies to life with enchanted pathways, charming sea creatures and the most unique trick-or-treating venue in town.”

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular highlights:

Trick-or-Treat Sweets – Kids are encouraged to come in costume and use their Spooktacular maps to guide them to 10 sea-themed stations and trick-or-treat among strolling flamingos, octopuses, fish and more. Located among some colorful, oversized octopus tentacles, the treat stations are in the center of the park around the Skytower pond. An assortment of candy and healthy treats will be provided.

With baby boomers starting to hit retirement age, more and more people are taking to the road with their motor home, RV or travel trailer. The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association recently reported that nearly 8 million American households have and RV, motor home or travel trailer and that there are as many as 30 million RV enthusiasts in the US.

Seeing the country in an RV offers many benefits to the traveler looking for an affordable and exciting way to spend quality family time. And with more than 16,000 public and privately-owned campgrounds in the US, there's a site to fulfill everyone's vacation fantasy, whether it's an oceanfront view, hiking trails, casino gambling or tennis.

RV travel is easy to learn, and once you've got the hang of it, there'll be no going back! Here are five helpful tips that will come in handy for both the beginning and seasoned RV enthusiast:
