New Mexico's premier ballooning event held annually the
first weekend in December, since 1981 in friendly Gallup, New Mexico. 200
balloons from all over the world float through red sandstone bluffs and
canyons competing for fabulous Indian crafted art and jewelry.
Gallup is close to several Indian reservations and is
known as the "Indian Jewelry Capital of the world."
